About Me

Elsa Reynolds is a Texas based artist and art educator. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. Elsa has been teaching art and inspiring students for 19 years. When she is not teaching, Elsa enjoys spending time in nature and exploring with her family, drawing, sketching, and inspiring others by sharing her art.

Elsa believes in making art everyday to process the day, emotions, experiences and to capture the people and world around her.

“Making art everyday has allowed me to let go of the idea that art needs to be perfect and therefore requires a lot of time to create. Sketching and working small-scale in my sketchbooks allows me to make art that is personal and meaningful. It is a tool to reflect what is happening around me and record my thoughts and feelings. My daily art practice allows me to experiment with new materials and techniques in a stress-free and playful way. It is a great way to make stronger memories of my daily life, a time capsule of sorts.”
